This is all I have to say before my departure...

In the wintertime
Keep your feet warm
But keep your clothes on and don't forget me
Keep the memories
But keep your powder dry too

In the summer by the poolside
While the fireflies are all around you
I'll miss you when I'm lonely
I'll miss the sunshine too

Now don't forget me
Please don't forget me
Make is easy on me just for a little while
You know I think about you
I hope you'll think about me too

When we're older a little slower it doesn't matter now come on get happy
'cause nothing lasts forever but I will always love you

Now don't forget me
Please don't forget me
Make is easy on me just for a little while
You know I think about you
I hope you'll think about me too.

Supper at GEYLANG!

People usually associate Geylang with legal sexual activities a.k.a red light distict in Singapore. However, it is also undeniable that there are lots of hidden gastronomical gems in there!

So after a birthday party which was held at Sims Ave Lor 27 last Saturday, Robs and I decided to have dim sum for supper at the infamous Wan Tho Shek (which sounded like 126 in cantonese- located at Geylang, 126 Sims Ave). After all, we were already in that area.

Ever wished that all restaurants allow your precious pooches to dine in with you? After much research, I finally brought my dog- Taylar to Urban Pooch to sort of pamper her to good food as a belated birthday meal. She had lots of birthday presents from my Bangkok trip anyway.

So I'm finally done with my exams. Wouldn't say that it was smooth sailing, but at least I'm done! Like officially done! So if nothing goes wrong, *touch wood* it'll be exams free 'till I decide to be a student again. Congrats to me! (:

Anyhow, been 4 days since exams are over and I'm enjoying every bit of my free time. Been out almost everyday and Saturday was awesome because I finally could catch movies without feeling guilty. And so, I caught TWO movies in on a Saturday night, and boy you guys should really catch these movies...

My Sister's Keeper

My Sister's Keeper is totally a tear- jerker; a must- watch if you enjoy movies such as "Lake House" and "P.S I Love You". Not so much about relationships but purely about kinship.

Imagine how life would be if you discover that your precious new born child was not as normal as others. Katie was diagnosed with leukemia since birth and her parents were presented with a solution which could be morally incorrect. They were given the option to "create" a genetically modified designer baby whose main aim was to prolong Katie's life. This brought up issues such as ethics, family value and kinship. This movie poses a very interesting question to the audience " Will you sacrifice one child's well being for another's and are you legally allowed to do so?"

I couldn't stop tearing since like from the middle of the movie onwards especially at the part when the family was together at the beach. The movie definitely had portrayed "Love" from a completely different perspective. Letting go is never easy; but sometimes that's the only solution to stop everyone's agony. 4.5/ 5 popcorns. Catch the movie before it stops screening!

Paranormal Activity

NOTE: DO NOT WATCH THE TRAILER IF YOU CANNOT TAKE HORROR FLICKS!

P/s: I'm having goosebumps as I'm writing the following review.

People have been tweeting so much about this movie that I couldn't wait for it to officially screen and caught the sneaks yesterday. The initial part of the movie was of low quality flick; I almost thought that it would be like some kind of documentary and would bring disappointments to me. However, as I watched on, it almost brought me to tears and I almost wanted to get out of my seat and leave the horrifying theatre...

Paranormal Activity is a budget USD$11k production which was mainly shot using a hand held video camera. However, it was the low quality and the setting of the entire movie that made it freaky! The movie revolves around Katie and the paranormal activities which seems to follow her. Since she was young, she had been seeing shapeless figures hovering around her bedroom at night. She was determined that these "spirits" had now followed her into her new house! Her boyfriend, Micah, was unconvinced and decides to set up a video cam to record any strange happenings. He tried hard to provoke these spirits and eventually succeeded when he brought in an Ouija Board, in a mock attempt to communicate with these beings.

Catch this movie to know what happens! I believe u won't be able to fall asleep at about 3am every night after the movie! You never know what is lurking behind those shadows! Beware. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

One of the most horrifying movie in recent days. The superb choice of setting - house, made everyone a "possible victim" It was so close to heart that it gives m goosebumps whenever I hear "noises" outside my room at night. Though scary, I enjoyed this movie. I will give it 4 pop corns! Catch it if you dare :)

For now, I'm going out for another 2 movies or at least one. Poker King and Love Happens here I come!

Oh and yes, I'm heading to Bangkok from this Friday to next Monday. Despite going there for like the 6th time, I still need recommendations on where to eat, shop, sight see or whatsoever. So do leave a comment.

Till then,

Eileen

FINALLY!

I'm finally done with exams, which also means, technically speaking I'm done with my degree program should I clear all modules. Seriously, it felt like the longest exams ever! And out of the 4 papers I took this semester, 1 I'm almost confident that I will not be able to clear, and another, I'm praying for miracles to happen.

Life had been quite a bitch for the pass couple of weeks. Many of my friends commented that I've been missing from the virtual world! HAHA! Yes, but now that I'm back I see no fun in anything I can get off the internet.

Even though the exams are now officially over, I'm not exactly really happy about it. I'm overwhelmed with mixed emotions about graduation, friendships, love, etc. Owell, you probably wouldn't understand the least bit from my whole chunk of disorientated thoughts. But that's the point, it just shows how close you are to me; and I guess this is probably not for you to comprehend.

Anyhow, it's time to catch up with my friends, eat, sleep, watch movies, facebook, blog, grooming appointments, indulge in alcohol, ANYTHING except eating books. And, I'll be looking forward to my Thailand trip next Friday; but not exactly excited about my 4months Australia trip- well it's hard to explain-.

I'M ACTUALLY NOT THAT HAPPY NOW.

But all good.

OH, guess what? I'm working tomorrow. No choice, someone's paper only ends on Saturday. Boo!

BYE!

Please let me graduate. Period.
